TRIP
DETAILS:
DAY 1: Arrival and check-in at the
country house. The tour starts with a visit of a local winery where an expert
will show you the family company, the cellar and the vineyards, followed by a wine and local extravirgin olive oil
tasting. The typical wine production of this area is D.O.C. Bianchello del
Metauro.
DAY 2: In the morning you will meet the truffle expert and his dog.
There will be a briefing about truffles and how to search for them, followed by
a walk in the forest, hunting for
truffles. Do you feel lucky?
At the return
from the woods, you will enjoy a delicious truffle
lunch and you will have the chance to see the truffle you have found
grated on your homemade pasta dish. In the afternoon you will visit Gradara, the winner of the most beautiful Italian village of 2018; you will fall
in love with the charming castle from the walls of which you will enjoy
breathtaking views of the soft hills that roll all the way till the Adriatic
Sea. Afterwards you will go to a local
oil mill where an expert will show you the company, how the extra virgin
olive oil is made in this area and then you will be offered a tasting of local food,
wine and a sweet surprise! Return to the agritourism.
DAY
3: After
breakfast proceed towards Urbino, a town
that is the pride of Italian Renaissance and the birthplace of architect
Bramante and the renowned artist Raffaello. Its Palazzo Ducale, the jewel of
Italian Renaissance, has been the home of the National Gallery of Le Marche
region since 1912. Urbino also hosts the Academy of Raffaello, countless
churches of significant importance, as
well as the Fortress of Albornoz.
Free
afternoon to enjoy at your leisure. You can relax at the SPA of the agritourism
or discover the old town of Fano, where our local guide will tell you the story
of the traditional alcoholic coffee drink called “Moretta Fanese and how the
fishermen invented it…naturally followed by a tasting!
DAY 4: Breakfast. End of services.
ON REQUEST: Transfer and

experiences like cooking class experience with a local chef, trekking activity,
